Things have been very busy around at the Ionata office and it is about time we updated you on our latest news and developments. We are lucky enough to have been finalising some great projects – and beginning exciting new ones.
One recent development to our business has been a slight name change to Ionata Web Solutions. We think this new take on our name captures the essence of the company as well as our goals.

News
Ionata wins Metro Tasmania website development
Ionata is extremely pleased to announce that we have secured the tender to develop a new website for Metro Tasmania and Hobart Coaches.
The website will make use of our Content Management System (CMS) and will also feature interactive timetables and route maps.
So keep your eyes peeled for a new way to find your nearest bus stop!
Seniors Card project nears completion
Ionata is currently completing development of the Seniors Data System. The system will manage the details of 70,000 Seniors Card-holders from across Tasmania.
The system will also allow the Seniors Bureau to manage interaction with business offering discounts to card holders and to co-ordinate events for the annual Seniors Week.
Ionata farewells Chris Fordham
Chris has decided to return to Sydney and will be sadly missed around the Ionata office. Chris has been an active part of the team and will be remembered as a passionate advocate of web standards. We wish Chris every success in his future career.
Recent Projects
About Housing Channel
In July this year Ionata completed development of the About Housing channel. The site provides a range of information for people seeking to know about housing and support options, including buying and selling a home, renting in the private market, public housing or community housing.
Currently being used as an internal resource for Housing Tasmania staff and the TMD call centre, the About Housing channel features a Service Search Form which aims to match housing services to individual’s particular needs.
New NGT site
Coinciding with the "It's time to call in the coach" campaign, Ionata recently launched a new NGT site. Ionata was responsible for the build and integration with our CMS, working with a design from Red Jelly.
Rouleston Financial Services
Ionata built the interactive Rouleston Financial Services site around a design by Wise Guise.
Findstaff.biz
Ionata provided a customised version of our content management system to power the Findstaff.biz website that included some additional functionality to allow candidates to apply for positions or register online. While we worked on the development and build, Red Jelly provided the design.
