Posted on Thursday, 18 December 2008 | Permalink
Ionata Web Solutions has today launched Wheelies.net.au a homeswapping site for wheelchair users.
Too often holidays are limited for wheelies because of cost and lack of suitable accommodation.
Here is a chance for wheelies to swap houses for holidays they know will be low cost and will be in suitable accommodation with the right facilities.
The brainchild of Sharon Lennox who is living with multiple sclerosis Wheelies.net.au is sponsored by the MS Society of Tasmania and gifted by the Tasmania Community Fund.
Holly Webber provided the graphic design.

Ionata Web Solutions is delighted to announce the public release of the new Metro Tasmania website.
The new website features customisable timetables, interactive route maps and a nearby bus stop search to help locate the bus stops.
Built in semantic HTML the website makes use of media targetted CSS to allow users to view, customise and print timetables.
The website also offers users the opportunity to personalise their experience by creating a MyMetro account. The MyMetro account allows regular users the opportunity to save their frequently used timetables and also to save nearby bus stop searches as 'busmarks'. Busmarks can then be labelled and shared or pasted into a website.

For the past 6 months we've been busy rewriting our Content Management System (CMS) from the ground up and this quarter we were excited to release into the public domain.
The rebuilt CMS is important to us as it allows us to provide our clients with a simple and intuitive way to maintain the content of their sites. Giving clients the ability to maintain website content themselves reduces the ongoing costs of the website and keeps sites feeling fresh.
This quarter's newsletter features some great websites using the new CMS.

Minister Launches About Housing
Posted on Wednesday, 30 January 2008 | Permalink
The Minister for Health and Human Services, Lara Giddings, today encouraged Tasmanians to make use of a new electronic resource developed by Ionata Web Solutions for the Department of Health and Human Services.
Ms Giddings launched the ‘About Housing’ website, an initiative set up through funds made available under the Affordable Housing Strategy.
Ms Giddings said the website contained important information about the different housing types and options for many different groups of people in the community.
However, she said it was primarily intended to provide a central information resource for low income Tasmanians.
The ‘About Housing’ website can be accessed from www.abouthousing.tas.gov.au, or through the Service Directory on the Department of Health and Human Services website.
